The origin of the Dualtron brand and its philosophy

In 2015, Dualtron surpassed the competition with its Dualtron Ultra by offering an electric scooter with a range of 100 km for a speed of approximately 80 km/ h.

Until then, most models on the market were limited to 40 km/h for 50 km of autonomy. Classified among high-end electric scooters, the Dualtron brand is ambitious and continues to evolve in its technology.

The reference model: Dualtron Thunder

Replaced at the start of the 2020 school year by the Dualtron Storm , the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter shocked the market when it was released in 2018. Using two brushless motors of 2500W each, the Thunder made it possible to reach 85 km/h at its exit.

The same one that had been seen on the A86 motorway at 85 km/h . Powerful and fast, the Dualtron Thunder was slowly starting to get closer to electric scooters . 

With the Dualtron Storm, MiniMotors brings additional power and a host of important innovations to delight fans of sporty electric scooters. The power deployed reaches 6640W (i.e. 1240W more than the Thunder).

Note that the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter has benefited from an improvement in 2021 with a new foldable stem system. This is more resistant to keep your machine for many years.

The design has also been revisited to take into account the various user feedback collected over the past 2 years by MiniMotors. Unlike its little sister, the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter, the Storm allows you to reach the 100 km/h mark while offering additional autonomy (up to 130 km).

The new Dualtron Thunder 2 Scooter

The Dualtron Thunder was originally the fastest electric scooter on the market, attracting fans of speed and adrenaline. After the Thunder, the manufacturer Minimotors released the Dualtron Storm .

It is in 2021 that the manufacturer releases a model that will redefine the standards. The Dulatron Thunder 2 is indeed a performance monster. Equipped with a 60A controller, it delivers a record power of 10800W to reach a maximum speed of 100 km/h. These elements make this electric scooter the fastest in the Dualtron range after the X-2.

This very robust electric scooter is equipped with a 72V 40Ah lithium battery which offers a long range of 170 km , sufficient for long journeys. It also has hydraulic disc brakes, 11-inch tires and large suspensions.  This equipment allows sporty, high-performance driving, while guaranteeing your safety and that of others.

The Dualtron Mini for more lightness

Featuring a brand new design including its revised front suspension, the Dualtron Mini electric scooter is the brand's entry-level scooter. One of the only ones from the manufacturer to offer only one motor but still offering a power exceeding 1000W . 

Designed above all for the city, the Dualtron Mini is by far Dualtron's lightest electric scooter , although it still weighs 22 kg. Very far from the 43 kg of the Dualtron Thunder or even the 70 kg of the ultimate Dualtron X. It thus offers an ideal compromise between power (1450W peak), autonomy (55km) and maximum speed of 45 km/h . 

With fast charging, you can leave with 80% battery in just 3 hours of charging. A direct competitor to the Speedway Mini 4 pro, it offers a little more autonomy and speed than the latter.

Dualtron X-2 Scooter: Totally Out of the Standard

This was replaced by an even more efficient model, the Dualtron X-2, an electric scooter reaching a max speed of 110km/h. It is therefore the model that develops the most power in the Minimotors range (8300W) for a weight of only 66 kg.

The manufacturer has decided to equip the all-terrain scooter with an LG 72V 45Ah lithium battery. This powerful model is also very practical because it can be used on very long journeys. In fact, its battery allows a range of up to 200km.

Of course, such power requires high-quality equipment, matched to the engines. This is why the Dualtron X-2 is equipped with suspensions configurable in 19 different positions and wide 13 inch tubeless tires in order to perfectly absorb shocks and vibrations on the road, even at high speed.

How to fold a Dualtron Mini?

The Dualtron Mini electric scooter is a compact and practical model for getting around town. In fact, it is easy to fold. Once the scooter is properly turned off, unlock the folding system located on the side of the frame connecting the stem to the deck. Once the mechanism is unlocked, fold the handlebars backwards at the mudguard then make sure that the scooter is compact and that the folding system is correctly locked. This will allow you to avoid the risk of damaging your scooter by carrying it everywhere with you.
