How to set the driving modes for Kaabo Skywalker and Mantis scooter?
The LT01 LCD screen of Kaabo electric scooters allows you to ride with 4 modes
driving :
ECO or TURBO
These modes will allow you to manage the power of your electric scooter .
TURBO mode lets you ride at full power. The ECO mode will be used to curb your machine. Choosing this mode when the level of your battery is low allows you to preserve its autonomy.
SINGLE or DUAL
These two modes allow you to choose between using only one or both motors of your electric scooter. When you activate SINGLE mode, only the rear motor of your vehicle is active. The DUO mode allows you to benefit from the power of the two motors of your scooter.
As you will have understood, the combination of ECO + SINGLE mode is the one that will guarantee you the best autonomy.
What elements are present on your display?
Your LCD screen allows you to access a certain amount of information on your scooter.
- The speed, displayed in km/h.
- The battery charge percentage displayed as a gauge.
- The chosen speed: 1, 2 or 3
- battery voltage
- The mileage
By pressing the “MODE” button you will also have access to more display options:
- Time: Represents the driving time since starting your scooter.
- Trip: Corresponds to the number of kilometers partially covered. The count starts from 0 each time you start your scooter.
- ODO: Corresponds to the total number of kilometers traveled on your scooter.
- Vol: Corresponds to the actual voltage of your battery, expressed in volts.
- CH: It corresponds to the number of charge cycles carried out on your scooter.
How to choose the speed mode?
The LT01 display offers you 3 speed modes. To choose your speed mode, turn on your scooter with the “POWER” button. When the scooter is on, press the “POWER” button and then the “MODE” button, the screen will display the speed level:
- L1: slow
- L2: medium
- L3: fast
Press the “MODE” button to validate your choice.
The more you level up, the faster your maximum speed and acceleration will be. But you will also lose more autonomy. It's all about how you use your Skywalker or your Mantis.

List of programs for Kaboo Skywalker and Mantis
In this part we will detail all the features available to best adjust your electric scooter according to your desires. There are a total of 12 setting programs on this throttle model.
PO: Setting the wheel diameter
This program allows you to indicate the size of the wheels of your electric scooter on the display. This is set by default to the number of inches of your vehicle's wheels.
This allows the speed of the electric scooter to be calculated. But depending on your weight, it may be wise to fine-tune this setting so that the counter speed is as close as possible to the GPS speed.
P1: Battery voltage
The value of the battery voltage corresponds to the power of your electric scooter. It can be set to 36V, 48V, 52V, 60V, 72V. It is therefore useless to change this value which by default is perfectly configured.
P2: Number of magnetic poles
This value corresponds to the number of magnets present in your motor. This value is predefined. It is therefore not useful to modify it.
P3: Speed selection
This value is set to 0 by default. There is no need to change this value.
P4: Speed unit
Depending on the region, the units of measurement are not all the same. Choose:
- “0” for the kilometer per hour
- “1” for Miles per hour
To drive in France, Weebot recommends that you choose the unit 0 to display your speed in km/h.
P5: Kick and start
To start your Kaabo Skywalker or Mantis electric scooter, you have two options:
- “0” for direct start with acceleration trigger
- “1” for an acceleration trigger active only after an impulse given by the foot.
For beginners or for the most powerful electric scooters, prefer the foot start , and when you have gained experience, you can switch to the direct start mode.
P6: Cruise control
Cruise control allows you to drive at a constant speed without holding the throttle trigger. This reduces fatigue over long distances , as well as battery consumption by reducing the number of accelerations. Select:
- “0” to disable cruise control
- “1” to activate cruise control
“0” is the setting mode we recommend! Because when you release the acceleration trigger with the cruise control activated (1), your two wheels continue to roll at the same speed. A function that is rather dangerous in city driving. Use only if you are used to riding your Kaabo scooter this way.
P7: Progressive acceleration assistance
It is possible to dose the acceleration of the trigger through this program.
- 0 for Soft Start Acceleration
- 1 for Average acceleration at start
To avoid excessively violent accelerations, choose the value 0 (softer). To deploy all the power at startup, enter the value 1 (faster and nervous).
P8: E-ABS system
The E-ABS system prevents the wheels from locking during emergency braking and thus allows the driver to maintain control of his vehicle. Choose :
- “0” to disable it
- “1” to activate it
It represents the power of your engine expressed as a percentage. You can electronically restrict your scooter by decreasing the number between 1 and 100.
P9: Motor power
It represents the power of your engine expressed as a percentage. You can electronically restrict your scooter by decreasing the number between 1 and 100.
Legislation imposes a maximum speed of 25km/h for electric scooters . We therefore recommend that you test your device under vacuum in order to adapt the percentage which differs according to the power of your motor.
Find on our website all the different battery of electric scooters on the market.
PA: Mileage
This program allows you to reset the mileages of your scooter.
It is recommended not to change this value .
PB: Auto power off
You can set the timer from 0 to 60 minutes.
PC: screen brightness
This value changes the backlight of the LT01 LCD screen of your electric scooter. Low light is recommended in dark weather, while high light is better in direct sunlight.
- "1" for low intensity backlight
- "2" for medium backlight
- "3" for high brightness backlight
List of LT01 LCD Display Error Codes
The error codes of your electric scooter are there to tell you that there is an anomaly on your vehicle. In case of doubt, here is the list of these codes as well as their meaning. You will then be able to know which system is faulty and requires repair.
Before carrying out repairs on a Weebot electric scooter following an error code, we advise you to contact an electric scooter repairer such as our Weebot Service Center by email at sav@wee-bot.com .
We will then be able to guide you effectively on the reason(s) for the breakdown and possibly the repairs to be planned.
Error code E00
It is usually enough to restart the scooter to correct this error.
Error code E02
This code indicates a brake problem.
To correct this problem, squeeze the brake handle repeatedly to see if it is blocked. If the problem persists, we advise you to check the spring of the handle because it must not be correctly in place. Your brake handle should then not engage properly.
Error code E04
This code indicates a controller problem. Remember to deactivate it in the program menu P6 (value at 0) .
Error code E06
This code indicates a low battery voltage problem. Check the P3 program mode and make sure the value matches the product's default setting.
Error code E07
This code indicates an engine problem. The cable supplying the motor is possibly disconnected.
Error code E08
This code indicates a display display problem. In some cases, the magnet inside the display may fall. Check that it is indeed present by keeping the trigger pressed (vehicle off). You should see it behind the trigger block. If the magnet has fallen, it must be put back in place, taking care to put it in the right direction. If placed upside down, your scooter may accelerate on its own.
Error code E09
This code indicates a problem with the controller. It is most certainly necessary to change the controller which is defective.
Error code E10
This code indicates a problem with the signal from the controller to the display. First, try unplugging and reconnecting the display. If the problem persists, you can try with another display. If this does not solve the connection problem, the connector cable will have to be changed.
Error code E11
This code indicates a signal problem from the display to the controller. First, try unplugging and reconnecting the display. If the problem persists, you can try with another display. If this does not solve the connection problem, the connector cable will have to be changed.
Error code E12
This code indicates a problem with the BMS. The latter controls the battery management.
Error code E13
This code indicates a problem with the lighting of the scooter. If your battery is charged, check that the charging port is working properly. Otherwise, the battery will have to be changed.
