To install the brake kit of your Etwow scooter

Bring:

  • Screwdriver with 8mm, 5mm and 5.5mm drill bit
  • Allen keys size 4 and 5
  • Phillips screwdriver, 13 wrench and hook

Follow the following steps:

- Remove the rear wheel of your electric scooter

- Enlarge the passage of the axle with an 8mm metal drill bit, create the hole for the drum screw with a 5mm drill bit

- Dismantle the front and rear reflectors then drill 5.5 mm

- Prepare the wheel by inserting the axle, then installing the drum and finally the washers

- Proceed to space the fork and a few mm to allow the installation of the wheel

- Place the wheel in place on the fork and tighten the nuts and the drum screw

- Dismantling the handle: push the pin upwards with the screwdriver and then pull with pliers

- Install the brake trigger, tighten it

- Replace the handle and the pin. To insert it through the spring, use a hook type tool, pull and lower the pin all the way into place

- Place the brake cable without the spring to allow passage. First in the trigger, tighten the gray dial, then pass the cable through the top clamp by unscrewing the tightening system completely. Put it back in place, then pass the cable through the ring, as well as the front and rear reflectors. Place the spring in place and tighten the nut.
