How do I maintain the suspension of my electric scooter?
The shock absorber must be in good condition to ensure its proper functioning and avoid squeaking. Indeed, in the event of squealing, your shock absorbers deteriorate more easily and your driving will automatically be worse...
To do this, we advise you to inspect your suspension adjustment screws approximately once a month. If you previously felt that your suspension was noisy, too tight or too soft, simply retighten the screws so that they are not too tight.
If they are too tight, your suspensions will be too stiff... If they are too soft, you won't even feel your suspensions working, it will be as if you didn't even have any suspensions.
You will therefore need to adjust your suspensions according to the comfort you would like to have to guarantee good road holding.
Secondly, we advise you to lubricate your shock absorbers. Indeed, when you ride on a path filled with potholes, the shock absorber goes up and down to absorb the shocks of the road. Since it is a moving part, you will need to lubricate it regularly (approximately every 3 weeks).
